Rice Health Advisors

FAQ

We are students trained on a variety of wellbeing topics who work at Will Rice to provide health education opportunities, health supplies, and peer guidance. As liaisons between the Student Wellbeing Office and Will Rice, we help you stay up to date on campus-wide wellbeing events.

RHAs can meet with you on a variety of health and wellbeing related topics as they relate to you or a friend you are concerned about. We are here to listen to you! If you’d like, we can also suggest ways to address the issue or helpful resources. You can talk to an RHA once, or be paired with an RHA for regular check-ins throughout the year.

Each RHA stocks a health supply kit of basic first aid supplies for students to take from when necessary. There are bags on every on-campus RHA's door that you are free to take from!

We also host events throughout the year to promote physical and mental health at Will Rice. Check the Will Rice calendar for our next study break!

An important note:

RHAs will direct students to the Wellness Center, Health Services or the Rice Counseling Center as appropriate. We handle all conversations with confidentiality unless we see a peer in a situation of immediate danger.
