Emergency Funding

Access AOP emergency funding here and access Rice Mutual Aid here

Emergency funding is available for students needing immediate financial assistance for urgent matters. There are two types of emergency funding: the AOP emergency funding and Rice Mutual Aid. AOP emergency funding is made directly to the Dean of Undergraduates office after confirming that other methods of support are not the best choices. Examples of what to use AOP emergency funding for:
  • Rent needed immediately
  • Medical fees
Rice Mutual Aid is a peer-to-peer network aimed to support Rice's low-income community of students. There is no barrier to access, and students can request money when needed. If you are able to, you can donate to their Venmo account, @ricemutualaid.
